Dancing with Water
Learn a few simple dance movements to invoke and experience the element of Water.
Painting with Water
90 minutes is TRAGICALLY far too short a time to master the intricacies of watercolor, but it’s JUST enough to imbibe its essence–a few genteel (or not) sips from the well, perhaps? We’ll be gathering water from on-site and using it to paint, exploring its essence and listening to its voice. Supplies will be provided, AND you’ll also receive a print out on technique to keep for yourself, so you can continue to explore the medium on your own.
Bio: Amelia Royce Leonards is a graduate of Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, where she spent four years baffling her peers and professors with drawings of goddesses and antlered women. Her work is influenced by the beauty of ancient myth, folklore, and the natural world around us. She can usually be found somewhere deep in the woods, sketching odd creatures and eating chocolate chips.

Flowing River of Conscious Living
The Journey of Conscious Living is a fluid and dynamic one, ever fluctuating like a flowing river. To find success and fulfilment in living in a way that prioritizes nature and humanity, we must look eco-shame and eco-guilt in the face and push it away. By being willing to adapt, forgive, and try again, we are able to make a more significant impact, which is then amplified by joining together with our community. This community-fueled workshop will incorporate some activities in addition to a facilitated conversation where we can address emotions associated with the journey, collaborate, and support each other in our Conscious Living journeys.
Bio: Lolly is the owner and founder of The Greener Gift, a small business that focuses on Conscious Living Education as well as consciously producing textile goods that support a greener lifestyle. Her eco-journey began in childhood and, like many things, has waxed and waned over the years. This current iteration of it fulfils her deeply as she is passionate about supporting others in their conscious living journeys without the shame or blame that is so often incorporated into eco-living.

Bio: Derek is the owner/Head Maker at Dragonfire Meadery. The Meadery was born from a passion of making mead also known as Honey Wine and enjoying it with family and friends. Honey wine is a wonderful drink for all sorts of occasions, it doesn’t need to be a special event to enjoy a glass of mead. Derek enjoys the variety that mead offers and his line highlights some of the wonderful combinations of honey wine available. Derek crafts mead in small batches because it allows him to have a higher degree of control over the honey wine in the end.
